I have visited the site several times reading the history and looking at all the great pictures. The Discussion Forum is a great source for contacting old friends or commenting on their stories. As a personal note, I grew up in Willi (b. 1939) and left in 1966. During my youth it is was a nice small town. Many good memories. Then in the 60's it really started to change dramatically. I think the redevelopment they did on Main St between North St and Jackson St was a mistake. North and Church Sts. had some really nice stores--speciality shops. My father died in 1991 therefore I do not get back to Willi as often as I use to.

Labor Day was always a great event because of the Elk's Fair that marked the end of summer and the begining of a new school year. This site is one the nicest and most informative sites that I have seen. It is especially remarkable because Willi was a great town and you have brought it back to life. Thanks again for creating and maintaining such a wonderful resource and history.
