As on Dec 7, 1941, the American people were shocked and stunned! Today, we are shocked and stunned. But, we will prevail as we did then!

We were affected Tuesday by the horrible events; my cousin Paul is a professor at the War College in McNair Va. and occasionally works at the Pentagon. He was supposed to be there Tuesday morning but something came up at the last minute. When he got to his office at the War College he could see the smoke and fire at the Pentagon complex. We were in suspense not knowing my cousin's outcome till we got email from Paul shortly before midnight Tuesday evening. A very dramatic thing!

Some thing Good also happened this past week. I heard songs that we sang in the early forties at Windham St. School. These songs were about America and they helped us through World War Two. My children and grand children have never mentioned these songs. I also heard a lot about God on TV from our leaders this week. I wonder if they will let us bring Him back into the class rooms.
