Between the Savings Institute and Sam's Surplus Center? There was little store in the area that Sam eventually took over and filled with jeans and wool shirts, etc! Ithink it was to the left of the stairs to the floors above! Further up Main Street we had Jenal's and Callahan's - then what? Next came Surrell's Colonial House where Sam Haddad's (The Luncheonette) had been!

Wasn't Benny's in the locatipn between Surplus&The Savings Institute?The rest of them I cannot recall at the moment.

Like Benny's as in moved to the old Jordan Dodge salesroom and garage at Main and Windham Sts? I don't know - my mind is blank! And that raises question: what was where Dunkin' Donut is now?

I think it was a gas station and garage.
