halloween horror @ capital

does anyone remember the great halloween horror shows at the capital theatre???? everyone wore a costume and and the theatre was dark and a horror show was put on by russell barrett the mgr... it was a fun time... that goes back to the 50/s and 60/s ...

I remember those too. LOTS of screaming!! My fond memories are the Saturday matinees, both the Gem and the Capitol,aimed at "kiddies". Cartoons galore and a feature often a sci-fi/monster movie or Abbot and Costello comedies. I also remember a re-issue of "Gone With The Wind"...what a big deal that was!
